ADDC Gbl chairs grievance redressal camp at Town Hall

Ganderbal, Apr 12: To listen to the grievances of people and ensure their immediate redressal, the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani today presided over a public outreach camp as part of the weekly Block Diwas programme at Town Hall, here.

The camp was attended by PRI members of block Ganderbal and prominent citizens who highlighted the issues and demands pertaining to their areas.

The demands highlighted included augmentation of power and water supply, lack of facilities at District Hospital, development of roads, playground at Deriend, dredging of irrigation canals, traffic management at Nagbal, shifting of Govt Middle School Khalmulla, macadamization of Bakura Bus Stop, desilting of Ari canal in Warpu area, e-Rickshaw service from Beehama to Central University Tulamulla and other issues of public importance.

The ADDC listened to all of the issues raised by the public and PRIs and assured that demands raised will be taken up with the concerned departments for prompt redressal.

He urged officers to take immediate action to resolve the issues raised by the public during the event. He also passed necessary directions to the officers for ensuring timely redressal of the genuine concerns and several issues were redressed onspot.

While interacting with the PRIs, the ADDC urged them to ensure proper monitoring of works being executed in the areas of their respective jurisdiction for their timely completion.

Meanwhile, participants were apprised about the beneficiary oriented and Self-employment schemes available with the various departments and were urged to take benefit of such schemes as per eligibility.

The event was attended by CPO, Irfan Giri; ACD, Dr. Bashir Ahmad; ACR, ACP, Tehsildar Ganderbal, BDO Ganderbal besides other district and sectoral officers.

BDC Chairperson Ganderbal, Sarpanchs and Panchs of block Ganderbal were also present on the occasion.
