Weekly Block Diwas:ADDC Ganderbal listens to public grievances

 

Ganderbal, Jan 18: The Additional District Development Commissioner  Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani today presided over the   grievance redressal camp held in Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat as a part of Block Diwas and listened to the issues of people of Block Ganderbal here.

 

During the camp, PRIs of block Ganderbal apprised the ADDC about various issues and grievances and sought his intervention for early redressal.

 

 

The PRI members sought better road connectivity, adequate health facilities, up gradation of PDD infrastructure, shortage of drinking water, desilting of irrigation canals and other related issues concerning their respective areas.

 

The ADDC resolved several issues on the spot besides issued instructions to the concerned departments to take measures to address the public issues raised.

 

The ADDC assured the PRIs that all their genuine issues would be taken into consideration in a time bound manner and directed the officers of line departments to work in coordination with the PRIs so that equitable development of all panchayats is ensured in the district.

 

Speaking on the occasion the ADDC said that district administration has switched all public services to online mode to ensure prompt and robust public service delivery. He directed concerned departments to ensure facilitation centers are installed in their respective offices for the convenience of general public.

 

Among others, Chief Planning Officer, Irfan Giri; ACD, Dr Bashir Ahmad, Executive Engineers of R&B and I&FC, DFO Sindh Forest Division, DMO, LBM, BDO Ganderbal and other concerned district and sectoral officers attended the camp.
