District Admin holds interaction with media persons

District Admin switched all public services to online mode: ADDC

 

Ganderbal, Jan 18: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani today chaired an interaction session with the Media persons to strategies a plan for dissemination of information related to Government schemes and to evoke feedback and suggestions from different stakeholders associated with the media here in the Conference Hall of the Mini Secretariat Ganderbal.

On the occasion the ADDC said that the media plays a significant role in educating the masses about the Government schemes and programs meant for the public welfare and asked them to disseminate the information among the public, so that the benefits can reach up to the last persons.

During the interaction, the media persons appreciated the District Administration for its efforts to resolve the difficulties of the general public and measures being put in place for the overall development of the district.

 

They also highlighted some issues faced by them while discharging their professional duties at ground level and also shared some valuable suggestions with regard to redressal of public concerns.

The ADDC appreciated them for sharing their valuable thoughts and assured early redress of their genuine concerns.

Addressing the media persons, the ADDC said that the District Administration has switched all public services to online mode to ensure prompt and robust public service delivery and in this regard concerned departments are also directed to keep facilitation centers in their respective offices for the convenience of general public.

 

While highlighting the achievements in focused areas, the ADDC said that the district administration is working to its level best to ensure overall development of the district and evolve a responsive, transparent and accountable administration in the district.

Appreciating the journalists of the district for their unbiased and positive journalism, he sought the cooperation of the media persons in highlighting achievements of the district administration and programmes in a better way and assured all possible help from the departments in this regard.

Chief Planning Officers, Irfan Giri, ACR, ACD, LBM and AIO were also present on the occasion.
