Former Mah state BJP president thanks PM for giving him opportunity to serve party

Aurangabad, : Former Maharashtra state BJP president Raosaheb Danve thanked Prime minister Narendra Modi, Party National President Amit Shah as well as State chief minister Devendra Fadnavis for giving him the opportunity to serve the post for the period of five years.
Mr Danve, who resigned his post, was replaced by State revenue minister Chandrakant Patil.
Mr Danve, is a statement on Tuesday night stated, “I am also thankful to party workers for making the party as number one with their hard work.”
Mr Danve was appointed party state president by Mr Shah on January 6, 2015 after he resigned as the NDA minister.
After the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he was again included in the Union Cabinet but he resigned on Tuesday.
In the recent parliamentary elections, the BJP won 23 seats and their ally Shiv Sena won 18 seats out of 48 seats and secured the first position, the statement added.
