Sensex rises by 204.85 pts

Mumbai, :  BSE Sensex on Wednesday rose by 204.85 points at 39,251.19 in the opening trade on brisk buying in banking Metal and power stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too advanced by 51.20 points to trade at 11,742.70.
The sectoral indices like Consumer Durable,FMCG, Capital goods , Bankex and power Aupported the market in early trade.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 39,435.80 and 39,158.10 respectively.
The NSE registered intra day high and low at 11,802.50 and 11,735.25 respectively.
The Gainer were Tata Steel by 3.13 pc to Rs 487.55, Kotak Mahindra Bank by 2.38 pc to Rs 1497.50, Power grid by 1.69 pc to Rs 201.05, HDFC by 1.07 pc to Rs 2177.35 and HDFC Bank by 1.05 pc to Rs 2442.25
The losers were Yes Bank by 5.81 pc to RS 102.95,Tata Motors by 2.37 pc to Rs 154.55, Sun Pharma by 1.27 pc to Rs 369.80, Tatamtrdvr by 1.69 pc to Rs 75.50 and Hero motoco by 1.56 pc to Rs 2626.00
