Denied ticket by BJP, Udit Raj joins Congress

New Delhi, Apr 24 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Udit Raj joined the Congress on Wednesday after being denied a ticket by the saffron party from North-West Delhi Lok Sabha seat.
Raj joined the party after meeting Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday morning. Mr Gandhi welcomed him into the Congress party.
The development came a day after the BJP refused to give him ticket and fielded singer Hans Raj Hans from his seat.
