India logs 13,091 new Covid cases, 340 deaths

New Delhi, Nov 11 : A total of 13,091 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in India during the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Thursday.

As per the bulletin issued by the Ministry, the latest addition has pushed the country’s caseload to 3,44,01,670 while the death toll has risen to 46,2189.

On a positive note, 13,878 more people recovered from the disease during the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 3,38,00,925.

The recovery rate stands at 98.25 per cent, highest since March last year.The cumulative active caseload now stands at 1,38,556, less than one per cent of the total cases, the figures showed.

As per the bulletin, 61.99 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.Meanwhile, India has administered 110.23 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive.
