Nagaland records 15 new COVID positive cases

Kohima, Nov 05 In the latest COVID-19 situation in Nagaland, the number has increased to 15 new cases yesterday, which increased the total number of corona virus-infected cases to 31,894 so far and with one more death report, the death toll rose to 687.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 11 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from three districts of Nagaland, with 13 cases in Dimapur, one case in Kohima and a case in Phek, it also includes 14 cases detected through self-testing and random sampling and one from the security force personnel, taking the total caseload to 31894.

On the recovery of COVID-19 infected patients in the State, altogether 15 patients were recovered yesterday, of them 11 from Dimapur, two from Wokha and two from Kohima district and the state currently stood at 93.95 per cent, taking the total number of recoveries to 29,966.

In the active cases in the state, 195 cases were remained in the state, with 159 patients were asymptomatic, 21 were mild symptoms, six were moderate symptoms, four were severe symptoms and four were on ventilators in the ICU. With no more reports of the death of COVID patients, the death tally remained at 687 during the day.
