Tourist dies after falling from a temporary bridge at Sonmarg

Sonmarg, Aug 21, KNT: A tourist from Indian Southern Chennai city died after falling from a temporary bridge at Sonmarg tourist resort of Kashmir Valley.

Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a female tourist from Tamil Nadu fell down from a temporary bridge at Thajwas Sonmarg. She fell on the sharp-edged stones and sustained grevious injuries.

The female tourist was taken Primary Health Centre Sonmarg where she succumbed to her injuries.

Hospital sources identified her as 54-year-old Sumiti, a resident of Chenai, Tamil Nadu. (KNT)
