Police arrested 10 persons for violation of Corona Curfew in Budgam, 06 Vehicles also seized

Srinagar, April 30: Police on Friday arrested ten people for violating Corona Curfew and also seized six vehicles here in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

In a statement to GNS, the Police said that taking stringent action against those violating the Corona Curfew and SoPs issued by the Govt, Budgam Police registered FIR number 107/2021 at Police station Budgam and FIR number 63/2021 at Police station Khanshab under relevant section of law.

In Soibugh Budam, 06 persons were arrested and 04 vehicles & 02 motor bikes bearing registration numbers HR27C 2532, JKO1AM 3973,JKO1K 8689,JKO1AC 3789, JK01U 3760, JKO1U 3733, were seized, they said.

The spokesperson identified the arrested person as Ahsan ul Haq Mir son of Ghulam Nabi Mir resident of parimpora Srinagar, Adil Bashir Mir son of Bashir Ahmed Mir resident of Darmuna Soibugh, Danish Nisaar son of Nisar Ahmed resident of Bemina Srinagar, Imran Ali Sagoo son of Ali Mohammad Sagoo resident of HMT Srinagar, Firdous Ahmed Malik son of Abdul Ganie Malik resident of Soibugh and Tajamul Islam son of Ab Rashid Malik resident of Soibugh.

In Khanshab, 04 Violators were arrested for defying Corona Curfew, they have been identified as Mukhtar Ahmed Najar son of Ab Razak Najar resident of Mujipathari, Showkat Ahmed Ganie son of Ab Aziz Ganie resident of Yarikha, Firdous Ahmed Dar son of Gh Nabi Dar resident of Arizal and Mohammad Saleem Dar son of Habib ullah Dar resident of Yarikha, they said.
