Srinagar, Mar 25 :National Conference (NC) president Dr Farooq Abdullah on Monday filed his nomination papers for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Srinagar Parliamentary constituency.
Dr Abdullah, who is the sitting MP from Srinagar Lok Sabha Seat, filed his nomination papers at the office of Deputy Commissioner (DC), here.
A NC spokesperson said that Dr Abdullah was accompanied by NC Vice President Omar Abdullah and General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar to file the nomination papers. The Srinagar-Budgam parliamentary seat will go to polls on April 18.
Dr Farooq, who is a three time chief minister of J&K, won the Srinagar Lok Sabha seat in bypoll elections in April 2017.
