LG Sinha visits family of cop killed in Anantnag, assures full support

Beerwah, July 24: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday visited the residence of cop, who was killed in the Anantnag terror attack, in Lolipora area of Beerwah and expressed condolences with the bereaved family, assuring them of all possible support from the administration.

According to details available with news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the LG assured the family that the Jammu and Kashmir administration stands firmly with them and every possible assistance would be extended.

He also praised the supreme sacrifice made by the cop in the line of duty and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.

The LG was accompanied by Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat, Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, V.K. Birdi, Deputy Inspector General, Central Kashmir Range, Rajiv Omprakash Pandey, Senior Superintendent of Police Budgam, Hariprasad K.K and Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Athar Aamir Khan.
