ACB Summons 2020 Fire & Emergency Services Selectees For Height Measurement On Aug 3

Height Test Ordered As Part Of ACB Probe Into 2020 F&ES Recruitment

Janmu, July 31:The Anti-Corruption Bureau, J&K, has directed candidates selected in the Fire & Emergency Services Department vide Order No. 823 of 2020 dated 04.10.2020 to report for a height measurement test on August 3.

According to a letter issued by the Sr. Superintendent of Police, Police Station ACB Central, J&K, Sidhra, Jammu, a copy which lies with GNS states that No. ACB/P.S.(C)/2026/2994-96 dated 30.07.2026, the exercise is being conducted in connection with the investigation of FIR No. 01/2025 registered at P/S ACB Central, J&K, Jammu.

The Director General, Fire & Emergency Services, J&K, has been asked to inform and direct the selected candidates presently posted/deployed in respective districts to report at designated venues at 10:00 AM positively.

As per the schedule, candidates have been called to the following locations, DPL Jammu: Jammu, Kathua, Samba – 82 candidates, DPL Rajouri: Rajouri, Poonch – 38 candidates, DPL Udhampur: Udhampur, Reasi – 29 candidates, DPL Doda: Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban – candidates, PCR/DPL Srinagar: Srinagar, Budgam, Ganderbal – 130 candidates, DPL Baramulla: Baramulla, Bandipora, Kupwara – 124 candidates and DPL Anantnag: Anantnag, Shopian, Pulwama, Kulgam – 93 candidates

The district-wise list of candidates has also been enclosed with the communication.

The ACB said the height measurement is part of the ongoing probe related to the 2020 selection process in the F&ES department.(GNS)
