JKCPJ Foundation Hosts Let’s Connect Season 2, Chapter 3 at Nishat Garden

Srinagar : The JK Centre for Peace and Justice (JKCPJ) Foundation successfully organized Let’s Connect Season 2, Chapter 3 at the scenic Nishat Garden, Srinagar. This chapter marked a significant milestone in the Let’s Connect journey as it introduced the concept of Peer Support, creating a safe and welcoming space for participants to connect, share, and support one another.

Let’s Connect is JKCPJ’s monthly community engagement initiative aimed at fostering meaningful conversations, emotional well-being, creativity, and social connection among young people. The third chapter of the second season focused on building a peer support network where participants could openly engage with one another through structured activities and guided discussions.

The session was hosted by Sadiya Rayees and Fadil Reyaz, who facilitated the activities and discussions, ensuring an inclusive and engaging environment for all attendees.

Speaking on the occasion, Nadir Ali, Director of JKCPJ Foundation, said, “At JKCPJ, we believe that meaningful change begins with meaningful conversations. Through the introduction of Peer Support within Let’s Connect, we aim to create spaces where young people feel heard, understood, and supported by one another. In a world where many silently struggle with emotional and social challenges, building communities of empathy and trust has become more important than ever. Today’s chapter was not just an event, it was the beginning of a support system rooted in compassion, connection, and hope.”

Participants appreciated the initiative and actively engaged in the activities, highlighting the need for more community-driven spaces that prioritize emotional well-being, social connection, and mutual support.

JKCPJ remains committed to creating innovative platforms that encourage dialogue, promote mental well-being, and strengthen community bonds across Jammu and Kashmir.
