One Killed, Three Injured in Sumo Accident in Kupwara

Srinagar, Mar 23: One person lost his life while three others were injured after a Sumo vehicle met with an accident at Manigah Shalabathu area of Kupwara on Monday.

Sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that four persons were involved in the accident, in which one person died on the spot while three others sustained injuries.

The deceased has been identified as a resident of the area, while all the injured were shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara for treatment, where their condition is being monitored.

The body of the deceased was also taken to SDH Kupwara, and necessary medico-legal formalities are being carried out.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation initiated.
