Govt Shuts Down 48 Tourist Spots in Kashmir, 39 remain open 

Srinagar, April 29: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has ordered the closure of 48 tourist destinations across the Valley while 39 spot to remain open for the visitors, officials said here
The decision affects 48 out of 87 designated tourist spots in the region. Among those now off-limits are well-known attractions such as Yousmarg, Doodhpathri, Aharbal, Bangus Valley, Verinag Garden, Sinthan Top, Baba Reshi, and the scenic Mahadev Hills. 
Several eateries, resorts, and religious sites, including the Jamia Masjid and various accommodations in Srinagar and adjoining districts, have also been included in the list.
Officials said the closures are temporary and part of precautionary measures following recent Pahalgam terror attack that left 28 tourists dead.
Enhanced security arrangements have been made at remaining locations that continue to receive visitors.(IW).
