JCO Critically Injured In Exchange Of Fire In Akhnoor Sector

Jammu: A Junior Commissioned Officer of the army was critically injured during the exchange of fire with terrorists in the Keri-Battal sector of Akhnoor in Jammu.

Officials told GNS that terrorists fired an army party near forward post in the Keri-Battal sector yesterday while they were on patrol.

Subsequently, the Army retaliated, resulting in some exchange of fire. In this incident, one JCO was critically injured, who was immediately airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
