Akhnoor Firing: Injured JCO Succumbed To His Injuries

Jammu: A Junior Commissioned Officer of the army was critically injured during the exchange of fire with terrorists in the Keri-Battal sector of Akhnoor in Jammu succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.

Officials told GNS that a JCO identified as Kuldeep Chand who was critically injured during exchange of fire terrorists succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.

Yesterday, there was an exchange of fire between army and terrorists near a forward post in the Keri-Battal sector while the army was on patrol. The Army also had retaliated, resulting in some exchange of fire.(GNS)
