Use Water Judiciously: CM Omar to people

Says J&K has witnessed 80 percent rain deficit

Srinagar: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday urged people to make judicious use of water as J&K has witnessed an 80 percent precipitation deficit.
Talking to reporters here, Omar according to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer said, “We are facing a difficult situation due to a rain deficit.”
He said, “I can understand that people are worried as we are witnessing a drought—like situation.
I urge people to make judicious use of water to ensure that we don’t suffer in the coming months.”—(KNO)
