BJP’s Kmr unit celebrates Delhi victory, Ashok Koul credits PM Modi’s ‘Development Agenda’

Srinagar: The BJP’s Kashmir unit celebrated the party’s victory in Delhi Assembly elections, with BJP General Secretary Ashok Koul attributing the win to the development initiatives led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Speaking to reporters here in Srinagar, Koul as per news agency KINS said, “The people of Delhi have placed their trust in the BJP because they believe in the development and progress brought under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.”

He emphasized that the BJP’s focus on growth and welfare across the country has resonated with voters in the capital.

Koul highlighted that Congress had ruled Delhi for 15 years under Sheila Dikshit, but after 27 years, the people have once again chosen the BJP, reflecting their strong faith in the party’s vision.

He pointed to key development programs targeting farmers, laborers, and women as pivotal in swaying public support towards the BJP.

“After our victories in Haryana, Maharashtra, and Jammu and Kashmir, the people of Delhi have now rejected the confusion created by Kejriwal and Congress,” Koul said, underlining the BJP’s growing influence nationwide.

Taking a jab at Congress, Koul said, “Congress is in a bad state everywhere. Their recent claims in parliament elections are just false propaganda, and the people have seen through them. The party’s decline is clear in places like Delhi and Maharashtra,” he added.

The BJP’s victory celebrations in Jammu and Kashmir mark another milestone in the party’s broader push for national support, with leaders confident that their development-focused agenda will continue to win over voters.
