Family of Deceased Nowgam Youth Stages Protest, Seeks Justice

Srinagar: The family of Umar Yaseen, a Nowgam resident whose body was found in his vehicle at Digdol, Ramban, last month, staged a protest on Saturday, demanding a thorough investigation.
Carrying placards, the protesters gathered at Railway Colony, Nowgam, urging authorities to probe the matter and deliver justice. The family believes Yaseen’s death was not natural but a case of murder.
Yaseen’s father expressed deep anguish. “We do not suspect anyone in particular, but we strongly believe our son was murdered. We urge the police to investigate thoroughly and bring the truth to light,” he said.
The bereaved family called on law enforcement agencies to expedite the investigation and uncover the circumstances leading to his tragic death. (CNS)
