Man Attacks Family in Udhampur, One Dead, Two Injured

Udhampur: A man on Monday attacked his family in Ramnagar area of Udhampur district resulting in death of one family member while two sustained injuries.
Sources told News Vibes of India-(NVI) that the incident happened in Kiya Panchayat of Ramnagar tehsil, Udhampur district, where a man attacked his family members with a sharp weapon. The attack resulted in the death of his mother-in-law, while his wife and sister-in-law sustained critical injuries, they said.
They said that according to initial reports, the victim’s mother-in-law succumbed to her injuries on the spot. The injured women were rushed to a nearby hospital in Ramnagar for immediate treatment and later referred to the District Hospital Udhampur for advanced care, they added.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident, they said adding that the motive behind the attack is yet to be established.(News Vibes of India)
