AG Office’s Audit Week Celebrations Continue with a spectrum of socio-cultural activities

 

Srinagar: The Audit Week 2024 celebrations at the AG Office, Srinagar, continued on the second day with a mix of cultural, social, and professional activities. The day began with a Rangoli Competition, followed by a Blood Donation Camp.

 

Dr. Mohammad Muzaffar Jan, Medical Superintendent, LD Hospital, Srinagar, attended the event as Chief Guest and lauded the AG Office for organizing this life saving initiative. Senior officials Shri Ravinder Singh, Sr. Deputy Accountant General, and Shri Pawan Kumar Rathee, Deputy Accountant General, were also present on the occasion.

 

To strengthen professional capabilities among the participants, a three day Workshop on Audit and Accounts started today, focusing on enhancing procedural knowledge and best practices of auditing professionals.

 

The workshop featured Dr. Majid Zaman, a scientist and professor from the University of Kashmir, who discussed the evolving role of auditing in governance and accountability.
