Bandipora: Encounter in the Ketsen area of Bandipora district concluded on Wednesday with the killing of a militant and recovery of an M4 rifle from the gunfight site, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an encounter broke out in the area last evening during which two security personnel were also injured.
He said that in the ensuing encounter one militant was also killed, while a M4 rifle was also recovered from the slain militant.
“The operation has concluded, while identification of the militant is being ascertained,” he said—(KNO)
