Congress, Pakistan Share Same Intentions on Article 370: Amit Shah

New Delhi: Home Minister Amit Shah accused the Congress Party of aligning with Pakistan’s stance on Article 370 and 35A, claiming that Congress has consistently supported positions similar to those of Pakistan.

Shah in a post on ‘X’, suggested that the recent remarks by Pakistan’s Defence Minister regarding Congress and the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference’s (JKNC) stance on the issue have further exposed the Congress Party’s intentions.

He pointed out that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has, in the past, stood with forces opposing India. Shah cited instances where Gandhi allegedly demanded proof of airstrikes and surgical strikes conducted by the Indian military, and made controversial statements regarding the Indian Army. Shah argued that Congress’s narrative has often echoed that of Pakistan.

However, Shah emphasized that with the Modi government in power, there would be no reversal of the abrogation of Article 370, nor any resurgence of terrorism in Kashmir.
