LG congratulates J&K Police personnel for bagging gallantry awards

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha Wednesday congratulated J&K Police personnel who have been selected for gallantry awards that will be presented on the occasion of Independence Day.

The LG said that the entire nation is proud of your courage, grit and selfless service.

Taking to micro-blogging site X  LG Manoj Sinha said: “Congratulations to all the @JmuKmrPolice personnel who have been awarded the Medal for Gallantry, President’s Medal for Distinguished Service, and Medal for Meritorious Service on the occasion of Independence Day 2024. The nation is proud of your courage, grit & selfless service”.

 

Notably J&K Police has bagged 50 medals for gallantry medals for their meritorious services on the eve of 78th Independence Day. The list of awardees has been announced by the Union Home Ministry.
