Police arrests 5 gamblers in Baramulla; Stake money, playing cards recovered

Baramulla: Police in Baramulla have arrested 5 gamblers and seized stake money and playing cards.

In a statement issued to Asian Mail, police spokesperson said that during a raid police arrested 05 Gamblers while gambling & Stake money of Rs-13200/- & playing cards recovered from their possession . They have been identified as Abdul Hamid Dar son of Ab Khaliq resident of Azadgunj, Javid Ahmad Parray son of Gh Ahmad resident of Arampora, Kallu Sheikh son of Azeem Sheikh resident of Kalaroos Kupwara, Gh Nabi Gojree son of Sonaullah resident of Azadgunj & Aijaz Ahmad Waza son of Mohd Yousuf resident of DK Marg. They have been shifted to the police station where they remain in custody.

Meanwhile a case under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Baramulla and investigation has been initiated.
