Police installed GPS tracking device in bailed-out militant associate

Shopian: Police installed a GPS tracking device on a bailed-out militant associate on Saturday in Shopian district.
In a statement issued to Asian Mail, the police spokesperson said that in compliance to an order received from Court, Police in Shopian today affixed a GPS tracking device on a bailed-out terror associate identified as  Sameer Ahmad Bhat Son of Abdul Rashid Bhat, resident of Manzimpora Shopian.
He stated further that the accused was arrested in case FIR No. 04/2022 U/S 7/25 I.A Act 18, 39 UA(P) Act of Police Station Imamsahib.
The GPS anklet will be used to monitor the movements of the bailed-out terror associate and ensure that he doesn’t violate the bail conditions, reads the statement.
