Young girl hit by truck in J&K’s Banihal, dies

Srinagar: A 17-year old girl crushed to death by a speedy truck in Banihal district of Jammu and Kashmir.

An official said that the girl identified as Saboora Rafiq (17) daughter of Advocate Mohammad Rafiq of Neel Banihal was crushed to death by a speedy truck near Court Complex Banihal on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway-44.

The deceased was a student of Girls Higher Secondary School Banihal.

A case under relevant sections of the law has been registered and investigations taken up, he said.
