Police arrests 2 absconders evading their arrest for more than 3 decades in Baramulla

Baramulla: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday have arrested two absconders  who have been evading arrest for the past three decades in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

In a statement issued to Asian Mail Police Spokesperson said that two absconders identified as

The arrested have been identified as Showkat Ahmad Shah son of Ab Majeed resident of Wagenpora Srinagar & Showkat Ahmad Makhdoomi son of Mohd Yaseen resident of Makhdoom Sahib Srinagar.

“Police have arrested two absconders  in Baramulla who were involved in case FIR Nos 296/1998 and 308/1999 registered at Police Station Pattan, ” he said.

He further stated  that the said persons were evading arrest for the last three decades.
