Srinagar: A man committed suicide in Bonura area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A senior police officer told news agency Kashmir Scroll that a man (name withheld) from Bonura consumed some poisonous substance at his home late Monday night.
He said that he was brought to district hospital Pulwama where he breathed his last one Tuesday morning.
Sources said that this man who was working in the forest department had allegedly taken this step over some family dispute.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.
