Srinagar: Additional DGP & incumbent Director Fire & Emergency Services Alok Kumar on Wednesday inaugurated a state-of-art canteen at Batamaloo Headquarters.
“The inauguration of the canteen is in extension of the Director F&ES as an endeavour to provide better facilities to the Jawans of Fire & Emergency Services, inaugurated State of Art Headquarters Canteen at Fire & Emergency Services Headquarters Batamaloo Srinagar. The canteen has facilities of Lunch, Dinner, and refreshment besides having a sale counter of daily use items at concessional rates for the jawans,” reads a media statement issued to GNS.
The Director, the statement reads, also passed on spot directions for regular inspection/surprise check through a team of officers headed by Medical Officer Fire & Emergency Services, for upkeep of hygiene and cleanliness of the canteen and providing of hygienic and nutritious food to the jawans in the headquarter canteen.
