PM Modi receives warm welcome from LG Manoj Sinha in Jammu

Jammu: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday landed in Jammu for a visit to Jammu and Kashmir. PM Modi received a warm welcome from Lt Governor Manoj Sinha upon his arrival in Jammu.

In a post on X, LG Manoj Sinha wrote, “Welcomed Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji on his arrival at #Jammu today.”

PM Modi was greeted at Jammu by LG Manoj Sinha, Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh, DGP R R Swain, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo and other dignitaries.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to launch multiple development projects, including for education, railway, aviation, and road sectors, worth over Rs 32,000 crore.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the projects relate to several sectors, including health, education, rail, road, aviation, petroleum, and civic infrastructure, among others.

During the programme, the Prime Minister will distribute appointment orders to about 1500 new government recruits of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Prime Minister will also interact with beneficiaries of various government schemes as part of the ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu’ programme.
