Collision Between 2 Vehicles Leaves 5 Persons Injured in Handwara

Handwara: A collision between two vehicles left five persons injured in Handwara of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday afternoon.

An official told GNS that an accident took place between two vehicles bearing registration numbers PB054 4287 and DL10 CF 7147 at Tutigund Handwara.

In the incident, the official said, five persons were injured and subsequently lifted from the site to GMC Handwara for treatment.

The official identified the injured as; Gowhar Ahmad Mir (19) son of Mohd Ashraf resident of Mughalpora, Zamrooda Begum (35) wife of Tariq Ahmad Magray resident of Kandi, Aazim Tariq (07) son of Tariq Ahmad Magray resident of Kandi, Huzaif Tariq (5) son of Tariq Ahmad Magray resident of Kandi and Arhan Tariq.

An official told GNS that cognisance has been taken into the matter for further investigations.
