Srinagar: Father of PDP youth president Waheed Parra has passed away. Ghulam Ahmad Parra has been battling cancer for more than one year. He was 62.
In a post on X, J&K PDP said, “Party expresses profound grief and sorrow on the demise of Haji Gh Ahmed Parra, father of @YouthJKPDP President @parawahid.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family in this hour of grief. May Almighty Allah grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannah. Ameen!.”
For the last year, Parra was moving from one hospital to another after he was detected with fourth-stage metastatic squamous cell carcinoma.
Authorities prevented his son from accompanying him to the hospitals in Delhi.
