Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha released ‘Sun in the Palm’, the english translation of Urdu Poetry collection of Dr Darakhshan Andrabi ‘Hatheli Pe Suraj’, at Raj Bhawan today.
The book of Nazams has been translated by young scholar and author Mohammad Shafi Rather.
The Lt Governor complimented Dr Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson J&K Waqf Board and extended his best wishes for her future literary endeavours. He also appreciated the efforts of Sh Mohammad Shafi Rather.
