Nepal Earthquake: PM Modi Expresses Sadness Over Loss of Lives

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday expressed his sadness over the loss of lives in Nepal after a 6.4 magnitude earthquake rattled the country.

PM in a post on X (formerly Twitter) said, “Deeply saddened by loss of lives and damage due to the earthquake in Nepal. India stands in solidarity with the people of Nepal and is ready to extend all possible assistance.

“Our thoughts are with the bereaved families and we wish the injured a quick recovery,” added the PM in the post.

As per reports, over 100 people died and a huge destruction was brought to the property after the massive earthquake hit Nepal on late Friday.
