Farooq Andrabi extends his gratitude for the condolences on his mother’s passing

Srinagar: Senior Politician, Apni Party’s Media Advisor, and Editor-in-Chief of ‘Indian Times’ Farooq Andrabi has expressed his gratitude to the people who offered condolences, whether by visiting his residence in Central Kashmir’s Chadoora or by conveying their sympathies over phone, on the passing away of his beloved mother, who left for her heavenly abode recently.

In his message, Farooq Andrabi said, “Numerous people from diverse walks of life, including prominent figures from the realms of politics, society, and religion, came to share in my sorrow over the loss of my mother, who departed from this world on October 23. Also, residents from my locality and various parts of the valley joined in congregational prayers for my mother. I am deeply thankful to all these well-wishers and consider it my duty to extend my sincere gratitude to all of them. Since it is not possible for me to individually thank each and every person for their kind gestures, I express my heartfelt thanks through these words.”

Andrabi specifically expressed his gratitude to his party colleagues who supported him during his time of profound grief. He mentioned, “I wish to express my gratitude to the individuals, especially my party leaders and colleagues, whose presence at my residence during my mourning offered me solace.”

Pertinently, Andrabi’s mother, Raja Begum, wife of Faqir Syed Muhammad Yousuf Andrabi, was a revered and spiritual figure, occupying a special place in the hearts of people in her locality and was affectionately referred to as ‘Mouj’ by all who knew her. She peacefully departed for her heavenly abode on October 23 (Monday). She was also the beloved grandmother of Chadoora’s Municipal Committee Chairman, Syed Fahad Andrabi.
