Delhi resident supplying banned drugs to Srinagar arrested: Police

 

Srinagar, Sep 12: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a Delhi resident who was supplying banned drugs to the drug peddlers in Srinagar.

“The main accused identified as Mohammad Asim a resident of Darya Ganj Chawri Bazar Delhi who was supplying drugs to drug peddlers in Srinagar was arrested”, Srinagar police said on X.

The accused was wanted in a case registered by Police Station M R Gunj under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

“Asim is the main supplier of contraband Spasmo-Proxyvon Plus to drug peddlers in Srinagar”, police added.

“During investigation of the Case FIR No. 25 /2023 U/S 8 /22 , 27 (A ) NDPS ACT of MR Gunj PS, the main accused namely Mohd Asim S/o Mohd Tauseef R/o Darya Ganj Chawri Bazar, Delhi arrested. He is main supplier of Contraband Spasmo-proxyvon plus to drug peddlers in Srinagar”, Srinagar police .
