Police arrest drug peddler in Mangloora Baramulla; Contraband substances recovered

Baramulla, sept 8: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested drug peddler in Mangloora Baramulla and recovered contraband substances from his possession.

A police party of Police Station Kunzer headed by SHO PS Kunzer under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg at a checkpoint established at Mangloora Baramulla intercepted a person.He was identified as Wakeel Ahmad Rather son of Abdul Karim resident of Mangloora Kunzer. During checking,75 grams of contraband Charas like substance was recovered from his possession.He had been arrested and shifted to police station where he remain in custody.

Accordingly, a case vide FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Kunzer and investigation has been initiated.

We reassure the community members that police will act tough against the criminals as per law.
