Kashmir: COAS General Pande conducts visit to LoC to assess operational preparedness

Srinagar: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Manoj Pande conducted a visit to forward areas on Monday to assess the operational preparedness on the Line of Control (LoC) in the Kashmir valley.

Defence sources said that General Pande conducted a visit to assess the security situation in the areas on the LoC in the Kashmir valley.

General Pande was briefed by the on-ground commanders regarding operational readiness and the current security condition on the LoC in Kashmir.

The COAS commended the effective control and operational preparedness along the LoC in the Kashmir valley.
