Successful Operation by Srinagar Police: Three Accused Arrested, Stolen Valuables Recovered

Srinagar Aug 14 : The Srinagar police have successfully apprehended three individuals in connection with two separate cases of theft registered under FIR 49/2023 and FIR 101/2023 at Batmaloo Police Station. The suspects have been identified as follows:

1. Ishfaq Ahmad Dewa, hailing from Palpora Noorbagh
2. Fatima (also known as Buri), residing in Friestabal Pampore
3. Asia Rasool, a resident of Hari Singh High street

The diligent efforts of the Srinagar police led to the recovery of a substantial amount of stolen property, including 4 gold rings, 3 gold chains, and a sum of ₹2,60,000. This successful operation underscores the dedication of the law enforcement authorities in safeguarding the property and well-being of the citizens.

Meanwhile Srinagar police on their twitter handle as per news agency said During investigation of FIR 49/2023 & 101/2023 of Batmaloo PS, 3 accused arrested: 1) Ishfaq Ahmad Dewa of Palpora Noorbagh 2) Fatima @ Buri of Friestabal Pampore 3) Asia Rasool of Hari Singh High street.Stolen material i.e 4 gold rings, 3 gold chains, ₹ 2,60,000 etc. recovered.
