Sopore, 14 Aug : In its continous drive against illegal mining, extraction and transportation of minerals
A team of Sopore Police conducted a raid at Nala Vij Dachanpara Rafiabad. During raid 3 tractors who were used to transport illegal minerals were seized.
Case FIR No. 32 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Panzla and investigation has been taken up.
All members of the public are urged in public interest to adhere to the law and the terms and conditions of their permits, wherever applicable, and to not destroy the ecology of their areas by engaging in illicit mining of minerals.
