NIA conducts raids at 15 J&K locations

Srinagar, May 9: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is raiding around 18 locations in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday in a case related to a conspiracy and plans by militants to execute violent attacks in J&K, officials said

The raids are being carried out in 15 locations in the Srinagar, Shopian, Anantnag, Budgam, Baramulla districts in Kashmir, and in Poonch, and Rajouri districts of Jammu division.

The searches are being carried out in three locations in Shopian, four in Anantnag, two each in Srinagar and Budgam, one in Baramulla, two in Poonch, and one in Rajouri districts.

The raids are being carried out in case (RC-05/2022/NIA/JMU) which relates to the hatching of a conspiracy, both physical and in cyberspace, and plans by militants to execute violent attacks in J&K with sticky bombs, IEDs and small arms.
