JK Resident Commission observes Republic Day

New Delhi, Jan 26: Additional  Resident Commissioner, New Delhi,  Neeraj Kumar unfurled the National Flag on the eve of 74th  Republic Day at JK House, 5-Prithvi Raj Road, here.

A contingent of J&K Armed Police presented Guard of Honour on the occasion.

The ceremonial function was attended by all the officers and officials of Jammu and Kashmir Resident Commission, New Delhi.

Congratulating the participants on this auspicious occasion, Additional Resident Commissioner said that this is an event to remember the martyrs and Freedom Fighters who have sacrificed their lives and made freedom for India a present reality. He also stressed upon them to maintain unity and integrity in diversity of our country.

On the occasion, a colourful cultural programme was also presented.

Later, Additional Resident Commissioner interacted with the officersand officials of J&K House and gave special gifts and commendation certificates to all the participants.
