DGP, J&K extends Republic Day greetings

Pays rich tributes to fallen heroes

Jammu, Jan 25: The Director General of Police, J&K, Shri Dilbag Singh has extended greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, J&K Police personnel and families of Police martyrs on the occasion of Republic Day.

The DGP in his message has said that, it is the day to remember, pay tribute to the freedom fighters and makers of our constitution who fought and sacrificed their lives for establishing the sovereign Democratic Republic of India.

The DGP paid rich tributes to the fallen heroes of J&K Police and other forces who gave supreme sacrifices for sovereignty and integrity of our nation and for safeguarding the interests of people of Jammu and Kashmir. He also prayed for the peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.

“I salute the bravery of our Police and Security Forces for fighting sponsored terrorism and for protecting public order in Jammu and Kashmir”, he has said.
