DC B’la distributes Tabs among field functionaries of Revenue Department

Baramulla, Jan 24: In a bid to make all Government services online for the ease of people, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla,  Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar in presence of Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Peerzada Mumtaz Ahmad today distributed tabs among the field functionaries of Revenue Department (Pathwaris) in a function organised at Dak Bungalow here.

During the function, the DC took first hand appraisal from each of the officials about their progress in LG’s initiative Land Records Information System (LRIS) in the district. She asked them to make every preparation of offering Services in online mode from now onwards.

Dr Sehrish observed that people should be able to avail each service from the comforts of their homes. She made out that our mobile phones should simply replace offices for the common masses.

To further facilitate ease of service in government offices, the DC directed a complete switch over of all services to online mode. She asked the IT Department to link all online services with respective timelines as prescribed under the Public Service Guarantee Act (PSGA).

She further exhorted upon the concerned functionaries to ensure that the specified services are added well in time and to ensure feedback is provided about each service delivered.
