Shifting to e-services, ensures prompt & robust public services delivery: ADC Gbl

Reviews online services delivery in district

Ganderbal, Jan 21: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah today chaired the meeting of officers to review the status of online services delivery to the general public in the district.

At the outset, detailed discussion was held department wise on online services offered by various departments in the district.

Interacting with the officers, the ADC said that the District Administration has shifted all its public services delivery to online mode with an objective to ensure prompt and robust public services delivery to the general public including beneficiary oriented schemes of the Government.

He said that switching over to online mode to provide hassle free service delivery to the public, the district administration has been effective in providing these services online adding that all people need to be sensitized about the same.

He stressed on providing hand holding to the general public visiting the offices for various purposes and asked all the departments to establish facilitation centers in their offices for the convenience of the public.

The departments were directed to share the report regarding online services provided on daily basis besides any issue faced while providing e-services shall be brought into the notice of administration so that issue could be resolved in real time.

The meeting was attended by ACD, ACR, CMO, CEO, EO, Municipal Council Ganderbal, DFO Sindh Forest Division, CHO, CAO and other district and sectoral officers.
