Secretary JKAACL mourns demise of Prof. Rehman Rahi

Jammu, Jan 9: Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Bharat Singh Manhas, has condoled the demise of Jnanpith awardee Kashmiri poet and academic, Prof. Rehman Rahi who passed away on Monday after brief illness.

To mourn his demise a condolence meeting was also held at Srinagar based office of the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, which was presided over by Academy’s Officer I/c, Kashmir Division.

Expressing deep sorrow over the demise of Prof. Rehman Rahi, the Secretary JKAACL conveyed his heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
