 SDM finalizes arrangements for R-Day at Kangan

    

 

Ganderbal, Jan 5: Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kangan, Javaid Ahmad Rather today convened a meeting of all stake holding departments to finalize the arrangement for the celebration of Republic Day 2023 in the Sub-Division Kangan at his officer chamber.

The meeting held threadbare discussions on various arrangements to be put in place at the venue for the National function, including preparation and consolidation of the venue ground, podium, security, seating, transportation, barricading, parking, electricity, refreshment, medicare, availability of ambulance, deployment of fire tenders and sanitation measures.

Highlighting the importance of the auspicious day, SDM Kangan emphasized that being a national event, Republic day function should be celebrated with fervor and enthusiasm and as such all the necessary arrangements must be put in place to make the occasion a success.

He impressed upon all the participants that the arrangements are made in proper and efficient manner.

The venue for the function has been fixed at Govt. Women ITI Kangan and department wise assignments were fixed accordingly and it was informed that the National Flag shall be unfurled at 10:00 AM sharp.

Before culminating the meeting, the chair reiterated that all the Covid-19 SOPs/ guidelines shall be adhered to while celebrating the event. Besides Tehsildar kangan/Gund shall also invite their Lumbardars and Chowkidars to attend the function. Further, Tehsildar Kangan is nominated as Nodal officer for the whole function.
